Narnia Night

Just got back from Narnia Night. Watched a nice handful of clips from the movie that can't be seen anywhere else, among other things. At the cookie reception, I had four different cookies (one was gingerbread!), some cold apple cider (yum), and I got to talk with a couple of friends - one whom I haven't seen since the last Narnia Night two years ago. Good times! :)

Webinar

Whee! Today is my first webinar on fiction writing! It's actually a "bonus" class on how to market your book, and it's been set to take place between the non-fiction and fiction classes. Only half an hour to go until it starts! Yippee!

Too Long...

Okay, it's been way too long since I last posted, so...TA-DAAAH!!!! And since it's so late (or too early, in my case), this post is going to be very short. I'll post again soon. :)

But until then...TTFN!!!!

My family and I are watching Julie & Julia for the second time since Friday (well, I'm obviously not watching it at the moment, as I am currently composing this post). As a rule, my family doesn't usually watch movies with suggestive language and equally suggestive love scenes, but my dad was the knight in shining TV armor for us ladies and watched the movie on his Mac with earphones. He noted all the strong language and love scenes, then turned right around and was our human "TV Guardian" as we sat down as a family and watched it together.

Case in point: It was a WONDERFUL movie, and it inspired me to blog on a regular basis. About what, I'm not quite sure. Maybe just life..."from my point of view!" Though, being a small-town girl, my life is pretty quiet. But maybe that's what people want to read about - a quiet life that unfolds ever-so-slowly like the petals of a flower when something special takes place. So stay tuned, dear readers, as this "quiet flower" unfolds before your very - and, may I hope, most faithful - eyes.

So, until then...Bonsoir!
